Skeleton Technologies wird estnischer Landesmeister der European Business Awards 2016

Skeleton Technologies has been named Estonian national champion in this year’s European Business Awards, the single market’s largest business competition.

The national champions have been chosen by an independent panel of leading business professionals, politicians, academics and entrepreneurs from across Europe on the award’s core values of innovation, ethics and success. Supporters and judges of the European Business Awards have included for example Yves Leterme, former Belgium Prime Minister; Karel De Gucht, former European Commissioner for Trade; Wim Kok, former Dutch Prime Minister; and Alfonso Pecoraro Scanio, former Minister of the Environment, Italy.

More than 33,000 companies from 34 countries applied in this year's competition. The huge numbers tell a convincing story of the EBA's popularity and prestige. Only 1,9% of the companies, Skeleton Technologies among them, are now moving on to the second stage of the competition, set up to celebrate business excellence and best practice.

European Business Awards CEO, Adrian Tripp, said:

Skeleton Technologies CEO and co-founder Taavi Madiberk was excited to learn about the nomination:

“We’re extremely proud about our nomination to represent Estonia in this Europe-wide accolade. The European Business Awards are recognised as a showcase for some of the most dynamic companies in the single market and we are proud to be recognised at this level.”

In the 2015/16 competition, all European Union member markets were represented plus Turkey, Norway, Switzerland, Serbia and Macedonia. The combined revenue of entrants exceeded €1.2 trillion and employed more than 2.5 million people.

“Congratulations to Skeleton Technologies who have been selected to represent Estonia as national champions. They are central to the success of Europe’s strong business community, and have shown the core principles we look for of innovation, ethics and success.”
